Fishing Aug 7

Well we left around 4:15 on Friday to head up fishing. After reading the fishing report they talked about people catching fishing over by the new marina, Scorpion Bay. We decided to give it a shot. After about an hour, Teresa's pole bent over like no rod I have ever seen. She was reeling in what appeared to be a lunker. After several minutes her line snapped and the thrill was over. We never did get to see what it was but my guess would be a rather large striper.

When the bite would slow down we'd talking about leaving and then all of a sudden we'd both have a fish. We thru back a lot of little but caught at least 25, we lost track.

As the night went on, it started getting very cool. Well Teresa had on sweats and a sweatshirt if that tells you anything. Being on the water and night under the full moon is very beautiful. We had a great time.

Incredible! Can't believe you stayed on the lake all night, but if you're having success...why not? That bright light over Teresa's head must have a special meaning!

That light was actually the moon! Now we are just waiting for the next full moon.
